Living in Tennessee and the Bible Belt, it can be challenging to find vendors and collaborators who support marginalized communities such as the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and disabled individuals. I’ve spent the last decade of my life trying to actively educate myself about these and other communities, and I will continue to do so for as long as I live. My hope is that my business can be a safe space for everyone, and I want to make it clear upfront that I support anti-racist movements like Black Lives Matter as well as movements that support Trans lives and non-binary individuals specifically. I support a Free Palestine, the abolition of police, active masking and vaccinations, gun control, and access to abortions and free healthcare.

The bottom line is this: you are loved. You deserve to be seen and heard and happy. And my hope is that I can be someone you can trust.

While I aim to be accessible to all marginalized individuals, I have a strong connection to the queer community, as I myself am queer and neurodivergent. For years now I’ve worked to build a platform that highlights the queer community in Nashville, and I feel called to document and preserve queer stories for future generations. I want our community to be supported and encouraged in all stages of life, and I want to make sure everyone feels safe and seen and loved for who they are regardless of gender, sexuality, race, religion, or class.

I recognize that I have a lot of privilege, and I acknowledge that I’m not always perfect, but the least I can do is show up and try.

Therefore, in an effort to support marginalized individuals, I primarily work with sliding scale pricing. I have reduced-rate options for those who need financial assistance, and I operate my business in a way that allows for all kinds of budgets and projects. I am happy to accommodate you in whatever way I’m able, so do not hesitate to make your needs known.

Whether you’re looking for a wedding photographer, a creative collaborator to bring your vision to life, or you just need a queer friend in the Nashville area, I’m happy to help you on your journey. And if you and I aren’t a great fit, I have many relationships with other queer (or otherwise marginalized) creators in the Nashville area, and I’d be happy to connect you!
